How renting works
Submitting
Pick a facility below and submit a request — no account needed. District staff review each one, generally a couple of business days per step. You'll get an email with the decision and, if approved, the next steps: proof of insurance (you can send it any time after submitting), then payment. A secure link in that email lets you check where your request is at any time.
This application shall not be approved, and the facility shall not be available for rental unless and until a certificate of liability insurance coverage ($1,000,000.00) is presented to the Superintendent of Schools insuring the event and showing by endorsement the Houston County School District as an additional insured.
What it costs
Costs are estimates until the Facilities Department confirms them. One custodian is included in every rental. The committee may add charges for extra custodians, maintenance, or law enforcement depending on your event.
Not eligible
Private family events — weddings, funerals, wakes, birthday parties, reunions. Individual classrooms, media centers, kitchens, science labs, agriculture labs, and family and consumer sciences labs aren't rentable at all; any exception is handled outside this site.
